Ringer lactate solution
The medicinal preparation Ardeaelytosol RL 1/1, also known as Ringer-lactate, is used to replenish water and electrolytes in isotonic and hypotonic dehydration of various origins, in acid-base balance or with a slight tendency to acidosis, in injuries, minor blood loss and burns. The product is also used for rehydration after replacement with colloidal plasmaexpanders and as a carrier solution for other drugs.
In paediatrics, the preparation is used as an initial solution for rehydration of acute losses in diarrhoeal diseases.
